In detail
Two kinds of credential
Posting and pinging leads uses a publisher API key, which each publisher creates in their own settings. Reporting and setup use an API token that you create with read-only or read-and-write access.
There is an OpenAPI file to download, so your tools can build a client for you. Ping/post bidding works today, and OpenRTB is coming soon.

It can read and change whatever your account can, and nothing more. Every change shows in the audit log under your name, and you can revoke access at any time.
Do I need a developer?
No. Everything in the app works without code. The API is for connecting your own systems.
